How to hard reset SONOS One Gen2

Learn how to factory reset your SONOS One Gen2 speaker. SONOS One Gen2 Hard Reset should be done when you transfer a SONOS One Gen2 to a family member or friend. The factory reset is commonly used when you need to register the SONOS One Gen2 to another email address or to completely delete all stored data from a Sonos player, such as music streaming services like Spotify, Tidal or Apple Music also Sonos playlists. This operation cannot be undone.

First method:

1. Disconnect power cord from SONOS One Gen2.

   

2. Click and hold Connect Button located on the back of SONOS One Gen2. Simultaneously plug power cord back.

   

3. Keep holding Join Button until light located on top of SONOS One Gen2 start flashing in amber and white.

   

4. When SONOS One Gen2 factory reset is complete, light will be green. At this moment you can release Connect Key.
5. Good Job! Now all SONOS One Gen2 user data is completelly erased.
